TECU

Amniocentesis and Chorionic Villus Sampling simulator (CVS)

Our experience

We are pioneers in initial and permanent training in amniocentesis in the biomedical field through a simulation model using animal tissue that generates a very realistic learning environment.
In addition, our simulator comes with a sample of synthetic tissue made with biogels,  metals and other ingredients that give an echographic texture and echogenicity almost identical to that of human tissue.
Our simulator covers the two options in learning amniocentesis (learning with synthetic samples and learning with animal tissue samples) providing very realistic training experiences.
If you are interested in the model do not hesitate to contact us.

IMAGES OBTAINED WITH THE TECU SIMULATOR USING SYNTHETIC SAMPLES

The synthetic material used in the simulator generates images very similar to those produced when we are using human tissue or using a sample created with animal tissue (chicken, pig...). This allows us to generate a learning environment similar to the one we will find when we have a pregnant patient in front of us.

IMAGES OBTAINED WITH THE TECU SIMULATOR USING ANIMAL TISSUE

In this video we can see the ultrasound images of an amniocentesis simulation with a sample prepared with chicken breasts to simulate the muscular wall and the  uterus, also using a pig's liver as a placenta.

The simulation in this learning scenario is hyper-realistic in terms of the sensation transmitted to us by the tension of the tissue and the passage through the various structures that we pass with the needle, simulating a situation almost identical to when we perform amniocentesis on a pregnant woman.

OUR FETUSES IN THE SIMULATOR

Our simulator comes with two fetuses of 12 and 15 weeks that give a very realistic ultrasound image similar to the one we obtain when we are dealing with a pregnant woman.

QUALIFIED TRAINING WITHOUT RISKS

A teaching-learning tool at the service of health professionals. It will serve us in the initial and continuing training of the medical professional.

Medical students will be able to have a simulator, which will be useful in the eco-guided puncture practices.

A very fast learning curve

We want all our clients to be able to experience the level of professionalism that the use of our simulator guarantees. With just a few training sessions, our skills improve in the use of this invasive technique very quickly.

Possibility of use with any ultrasound scanner on the market, the samples being designed for practice by the user himself

It is a simulator suitable for any ultrasound machine. The samples used are animal tissue and synthetic. Both present a lot of similarity in terms of texture, depth and experienced sensation, than the one obtained in the process with real practice with a pregnant woman. For each practice session, you can design corresponding samples on which you want to perform the simulation based on the objectives you want to achieve or use the sample that comes in the simulator to perform an amniocentesis without the need to prepare a previous sample.
